Bespoke designs for characters in short film: More! More. More?

"More! More. More?" is one of the official selections for the Aesthetica Short Film Festival.
The two dresses for this short film were designed to be black and white, which are regarded as colors that have opposing symbolic meanings that aim to convey two the characters' contrasting personalities.
The white dress, the big balloon sleeves and the stripes can gather the dress into an uneven hem signifying bright, and romantic.
Whereas the black dress symbolises dark, and unsetting. Symmetric crossed laces were applied under the chest and two layers of silk tulle covered the lower body except for the legs, which are exposed when walking. The four diamond shapes of stripes were made by tulle draping from the waist.
